SCREAMING, CRYING, THROWING UP - because our DJ, Dan Quinn, threw the RAGER of my DREAMS for our wedding day!
But where do I even start?!
As a Wedding Photographer myself (I've been shooting in Dallas for 10+ years), I had a very specific vision as I began to plan my wedding day. Music is my life, and my top priority was the entertainment and reception aspect of our event. I knew that having an empty or half-filled dance floor was absolutely not an option.
From the very beginning, I knew Dan was the person for the job. We've worked countless events together and I've had the chance to get to know him personally and professionally. He cares deeply about his family, his profession, and his clients. I already knew from first hand experience the lengths he goes to in order to ensure his couples events are uniquely catered to them. Although Dan already had an idea of what I was looking for when it came to our event, he still took the time to converse with my husband and I to learn more about our families and our dynamic.
Admittedly, I went all-in on entertainment and production, pulling out all the stops with a live band for the first part of the evening and then setting Dan up for what we wanted to feel like as a "club vibe." Dan was instrumental in recommending, designing, and executing our entire entertainment experience including uplighting, pin lights, haze, and more.
I had high expectations and Dan (along with his assistant Andrew) blew those expectations off the roof. He seamlessly worked alongside Manhattan Band, ushering our guests the entire evening as emcee with no lull or delay. And as the band concluded, he then single handedly turned the event into a "Classy Rager" (all rights reserved 😉 ) during which not ONE PERSON wanted to leave the dance floor. There is no better way to say it, but Dan took everything in my brain music and entertainment-wise and made it into reality.
People cannot stop raving about our wedding, thanks to DQB + team. I am still pinching myself expecting to wake up from a dream because the party was truly THAT good. Was this really OUR WEDDING? Dan, you made our wedding dreams come true, and we will never be able to thank you enough for orchestrating the party of a lifetime.
Absolutely loved working with Dan for my wedding. He took the time to really get to know our history and our tastes in music. Everyone at the wedding loved Dan and he made our wedding so fun! If I could give 100 stars I would.
Dan is the BEST! He absolutely brought the party to our wedding and we got so many compliments from guests on our DJ. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Dan was so great to work with and very communicative throughout the planning process. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend him to anybody that wants a great party. We selected Dan to be the entertainment for our wedding and were absolutely thrilled that we did. Dan was first class in every sense of the term. He made the process so much fun and actually got to know us as a couple and our expectations for the event along the way. Instead of filling out a huge questionnaire, we went to happy hour and knocked it out organically. He sang and did an acoustic set during our cocktail hour and then transitioned into the party as a DJ for the reception. I would highly recommend him and just wish we got to party longer with Dan!
Picking Dan was the best decision of our wedding - having a great party was a priority for us, and Dan absolutely delivered. Literally everyone at our wedding was talking about how good he was.
Dan is great at reading a room, mixing together old school songs and transitioning seamlessly into EDM. All ages were on the dance floor, for the entire night. And, we loved the uplighting and cryo guns.
Also appreciated the planning process, sitting down to chat about the various types of people at our wedding, the music we listened to in middle school, etc.

I had the most incredible experience with our wedding DJ, DQB Entertainment!! From start to finish, he truly made our special day unforgettable. His talent for reading the crowd and selecting the perfect songs had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Having Dan DJ our wedding was one of the best decisions we made!!!! We got married over 3 months ago and people are still telling us it was the best dance floor they have ever seen!!! Not only did dan bring life to the dance floor but he played an acoustic set for the ceremony and transformed the reception room into an unbelievable dance atmosphere with his expert lighting!! Dan also partnered with Matt Thelen who stole the show on the dance floor playing the saxophone live!! Dan listened to our vision and went above and beyond to make it happen!! Dan DJ'd our wedding in June of 2023, and I must say choosing DQB Entertainment was probably the best decision we made about our entire wedding!
Dan was the mastermind behind our creative music approach at our wedding. We wanted a live DJ, with multiple live instruments. Since this hasn’t really been done, it had to be created from scratch. Dan went above in beyond as far as planning, production and design. Music is extremely important to us so we wanted this to be the biggest part of our wedding, and Dan delivered! People still talk about the live music and DJ at our wedding. It was better than we could’ve ever imagined, and made for the best party. We are so grateful for Dan and his creative team! 12/10 recommend
We would give Dan 100 stars if we could! From our first meeting, we told him that we wanted our wedding reception to be like a Vegas night club - and that's exactly what he created. He turned our small, intimate 80-guest wedding into a rager and had every single guest out on the dance floor. After a 2 hour 45 minute dance set our guests still wanted more, and they're still talking about Dan 3 weeks later.
The music selection, lighting, energy and enthusiasm Dan provided truly made our wedding better than we could've imagined. There is so much more to say but to sum it all up, you will not regret hiring Dan for your event. We will be looking for any excuse to throw a party just to work with him again!
